The short version: this site doesn't ask for, collect, or store any personal information about you. No accounts, no forms, no cookies, no ad trackers.

What we collect

Nothing, directly. KnowYourPills is a read-only reference site. There is no registration, no comment section, no newsletter signup, and no form of any kind. We never see your name, email address, health information, or anything about which medications you look up.

Cookies and tracking

We do not set cookies and we do not run analytics or advertising trackers. Your searches on this site happen entirely inside your own browser — the text you type into the search box is never sent to us or anyone else.

What happens automatically

Like every website, some technical processing happens just to get the pages to your screen:

Hosting. The site is served by Amazon Web Services (CloudFront). AWS transiently processes your IP address to deliver pages, as any web server must.
Fonts. The site's typeface loads from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google's servers, which shares your IP address and browser details with Google. Google states it does not use Font requests for profiling. See Google Fonts privacy FAQ.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and, consistent with the rest of this policy, collects no information from anyone of any age.

If this ever changes

If we ever add features that involve collecting data — analytics, a contact form, anything — we will update this policy first and change the effective date at the top of this page.
